European Journal of Electrical Engineering
2103-3641
Revue des Systèmes
Revue Internationale de Génie Électrique (1295-490X)

For eleven years the Revue internationale de génie électrique has presented research works in the field of electrical engineering, with a particular interest in power systems.

At the beginning, the main topics were electrical machines, power converters, control and systems such as drives or electric networks which included these components. Then appear papers on materials, magnetic materials or dielectric materials, and different other topics which increase the scientific fields of the journal. More recently papers deal with diagnosis or renewable energies.

For the 10th anniversary of the journal in 2007 one has mentioned that our objective was to increase the amount of papers in English to develop the international nature of the RIGE. A first step toward this objective is the new title of the RIGE which becomes the European Journal of Electrical Engineering. This confirms the European character of the journal and of the editorial board which will be opened soon to more specialists from different countries in or outside Europe.

Scientific papers will be published in English or in French with a summary and a title in both languages. The selection will maintain its quality level, by a process based, as previously, on two independent and anonymous referees. As in the last years, some of the next issues will contain regular papers, some others will propose best papers from conferences and some others will present, in special issues, domains which are actually deeply modified by the use of electricity.
